Para actualizar un switch con OS10 de marca DELL, debemos seguir estos pasos. En esta guia, utilizaremos un Dell S4112F-ON.
Vamos a actualizar desde la versión 10.4.0 a la 10.4.3.4, pero seria aplicable para cualquier versión superior.

- Nos descargamos la nueva versión desde nuestra cuenta de Dell Digital Locker.
- Debemos subir la imagen al switch. Por mi parte, lo he hecho mediante TFTP utilizando TFTPD64.

Use 'show image status' for updates
- Comprobamos que la imagen se haya subido correctamente. Hasta que la imagen este cargada, veremos el estado «State Detail: In progress«. Una vez cargada, veremos el mensaje «State Detail: Completed: No error«.

- Marcamos la imagen en standby (que ahora tiene la nueva versión instalada) para que inicie en el próximo arranque. Podemos validar previamente que la nueva imagen esta cargada en la partición de standby con «show boot detail«.
